Top 10 places to enjoy spring weather in Edinburgh
1. The Blackbird
If your concept of spring is enjoying the sunny days while drinking one of your favourite Scottish beverages, The Blackbird might be your place. 2. Calton Hill
Yes, we all know Calton Hill is so beautiful because of the monuments it holds, but what would you think if I told you that the best sunsets are seen from there? Either sitting on the grass or under the Greek columns, it is more than just a good place for spending a spring afternoon in Edinburgh.
3. The Cumberland Bar
Located in the New Town and also holding a beer garden, it is not really known for students, although its cosy terrace makes it to deserve a place on our list. Well worth a visit!

No one can say that Scotland hasn’t got a big variety of vegetation after visiting the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh.

6. Dunbar’s Close
Find a peaceful garden by the Royal Mile, small but filled with different aromas and flowers, ideal for spend some hours with another person.
Relatively close to Arthur’s Seat, you will find in this park a place for playing cards, frisbee (with your dog maybe) and also admiring the sunset.
8. The Water of Leith Walkway
Either a cycling and foot walkway starting outside the city, it is perfect to discover lovely boroughs, such as Dean Village, with the path ending in Leith (so you can enjoy one of the liveliest quarters after your stroll). Highly recommended.

With funny performances every day, this New Town establishment can offer you some amusing moments wrapped with the best of the Scots’ humour. What more could you want?
