From arts to music to sports, these are the highlights of the opportunities Nottingham offers this semester, so make sure you don’t miss anything!




"Weekends & everything in between"

Weekends & everything in between, an exhibition of analogue photography by Tom Quigley.

For art lovers! From March 1st, Surface Gallery will present a local photographic exhibition documenting the subculture of Nottingham’s skate scene and the effect that skateboarding has on unifying those that love it. You will be able to visit it until March 9th.

Nottingham Underground Festival

Cave City invites audiences to discover what lies under the streets of Nottingham.

Between Friday 5th and Tuesday 9th April, the city will celebrate the Nottingham Underground Festival with a wide range of events including tours, talks, activities and experiences.



We all know Nottingham has one of the country’s best nightlife!

There will be an infinite number of events for all tastes: The wailers at Rock City (14th March), Fatboy Slim at the Motorpoint Arena (1st March) and Crazy P at The brickworks on 3rd May.



Music for everyone!

You will also have the opportunity to enjoy great artists in concert, such as George Ezra at the Motorpoint Arena (12th March), David Gray at the Royal Concert Hall (23rd March), Papa Roach in Rock City (28th April), The Vamps at the Royal Concert Hall (1st May) and Olly Murs at the Motorpoint Arena for two nights in a row (6th and 7th May).



Resolution Run

Aiming to be a bit healthier or looking for something fun to do with friends? The Resolution Run offers 5k and 10k runs on 17th March.

It’s a great opportunity to get fitter and remember: you would also be supporting stroke survivors across the UK!

Fun Colour Rush

Another fun way to stay fit is the Fun Colour Rush, an event filled with music, colour and community spirit.

Even if you don’t want to run, you can join and live the experience walking or dancing! It will take place on 23rd June in the National Water Sports Centre.



Nottingham Vegan Festival

Nottingham’s biggest ever Vegan Festival will take place on 27th April with world food caterers, exciting cookery demos, inspirational talks and animal welfare and rights stands.

The festival will be in Nottingham Conference Centre with a standard entry of only £3 and plenty of activities to do!

Gin & Rum Festival

If you are a Gin and Rum lover, get ready because the UK’s largest Gin & Rum festival tour is coming to Nottingham on the 15th June!

With incredible live entertainment accompanied by great food, this festival is a great chance to spend some quality time exploring a wide range of Gins and Rums.
