Partnership with ESN UK

“I’ve always been a big fan of what ESN represents. Citylife UK and ESN share the same ethos and passion to enhance international student’s experience here in the UK, so we are delighted to have been chosen as ESN UK’s national provider for the upcoming semester. ”

What is ESN?

The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is the largest student organisation in Europe and it was founded on the 16th October 1989. It specialises on the planning of student exchange and mobility programs and its purposes match ours at Citylife UK!

In what way are we cooperating?

We have become ESN UK’s national student provider for the upcoming semester and we are happy to organise unforgettable experiences for Erasmus and international exchange students who are studying here in the UK.

Annual national Edinburgh trip

There will be an incredible weekend trip to Edinburgh (15th – 17th November 2019), where over 600 international students are planning to join us in the stunning Scottish city for a variety of events and activities, such as Scottish whisky tasting, Cèilidh dancing and much more.

Do you want to participate? Feel free to keep track of ESN trips on their website

Cèilidh: never heard it before?

A Cèilidh is a traditional Scottish or Irish social gathering. Traditionally it just means social visit, but in contemporary usage, it tends to involve dancing and playing Gaelic folk music at a social hall or at any community gathering place.

You can find more of ours Cèilidh dancing pictures here.

We also wanted to thank Jacob Duane – Events Manager at ESN UK – who shows his excitement towards this new upcoming collaboration “ESN UK are looking forward to working with Citylife for our annual National Edinburgh Trip. It is also a pleasure to partner with them to bring one of ESN’s most important international conferences to Glasgow. We are excited for the year ahead”
